Woolworth's Cricket Blast is an action-packed program for boys & girls between the ages of 4 & 9 of all abilities who want to learn the basic skills of cricket in a fun and friendly environment.

Starter and Progression Groups

These groups are for kids learning the basic skills of cricket with participants building their skills through fun, game-based activities. The games are designed for small groups to ensure every child gets a go, allowing them to test and learn new skills. When they have mastered the basics they will be ready to graduate to Match Day where they can play modified games of cricket. All the equipment is supplied and the program is run at Erina Oval from 9.00am each Saturday morning.

Program Cost is $120.

​

Features:

  • For boys and girls learning the basic skills of the game (approx. age 4-7). 

  • Teaches basic cricket skills.

  • 16 sessions with each session lasting 60 minutes.

  • Program starts October 12, 2024, concludes March 12, 2025 with a 5 week break over Christmas.

  • All participants receive a Cricket Blast shirt, cap, bat and ball.

  • It's safe - we use plastic bats and a rubber ball.

  • Great opportunities for parent involvement.

Match Day Group

Match Day Blast is a fun, social, safe, cricket program for boys and girls. It is much shorter than traditional cricket, with a maximum of 90 minutes playing time. All the equipment is supplied and the games are played at Erina Oval from 8.30am each Saturday morning.

 

Program Cost is $150

Features:

  • Age range is between 6 to 8, dependent on skill level

  • Includes modified games of cricket with 6 players per team

  • 16 sessions with each session lasting up to 90 minutes

  • Program starts October 12, 2024, concludes March 12, 2025 with a 5-week break over Christmas

  • Register individually or find another 5 or 6 mates and enter a team!

  • Everyone gets a chance to bat, bowl and field

  • Girl’s only teams, as well as mixed teams are available

  • Club provides playing shirt and club cap. Participants only need to buy a pair of white cricket trousers.
